The term Forum in each slide refers to supplementing the basic teaching method, such as lecture, with following group discussion to develop the topic. This discussion forum helps the learner clarify her understanding and provides the teacher valuable feedback on the effectiveness of the lesson approach. Most important, it helps involve the learner directly in the learning process.
