If I had to summarize the purpose of Sunday School in one word, I would choose the word Ministry. Children have many different kinds of needs, including emotional and social needs as well as spiritual needs. We must be sensitive to minister to the whole child.
The real and felt needs of pupils and prospects should be at the foundation of all our organization, planning, scheduling, and teaching.
