Notes:
Fellowship means much more than just social activities, but getting together outside of the church and outside of the Sunday morning hour provides many supporting benefits. Getting to know one another in informal settings helps provide a positive learning environment during the Sunday morning session, as the teacher gets to know the pupils and the pupils get to know the teacher. Such activities provide a less threatening entry point to the class for prospects and absentee or new members. The opportunity for Christian fellowship can provide a practical model for Christian living. Besides, it’s just good fun!
Always invite your prospects to class activities. Don’t forget to include your In-Service workers, as well--they need your support!
