You’re literally one in a million...one of over a million Sunday School teachers across the Southern Baptist Convention who open God’s word faithfully each week, seeking to impart its truth into the live needs of their pupils. You have a responsibility for a small group of people, your class, which is shared by no one else. Your ministry in their lives will make a real difference, both now and for all eternity.
The rewards of a committed Sunday School teacher are great. You are secure in the knowledge that you are making a difference in the kingdom of God as you fulfill your calling. You have the joy of Christian service, as we participate as “fellow laborers with God.” You are making a positive difference in your community, your church, and in individual lives. And you have the personal rewards of the discipline of regular Bible study as you prepare to teach each week.
