During the month of November, we are learning about the ways God shows His power. We will study David and Goliath; Daniel in the Lions’ Den; Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego in the Furnace of Fire; and Jonah in the Great Fish. God rescued each one of these people by using His Great Power. As we learned last week, God can do anything!
It’s great to know, love, and serve a God who has all power and who loves us, is kind and merciful to us, and wants to save us from our sins.
Don’t forget to bring food (canned goods, staples, etc.) for the needy families our church will be helping this Thanksgiving! You don’t need the special bags we made, or any bags at all (although it would make the cans easier to carry). We’ll weigh it in Sunday and see which team collects the most weight of food.
