We have been learning about God’s Church—that it is not a building, but a group of baptized believers in Jesus who meet together to do several things. We learned about the birthday of the church at Pentecost, and about the seven men chosen by the church to help the disciples in serving the people.
Remember, no way can you say “I’m just a kid!” There’s a way for everyone, no matter what age, to help in a church and to serve other members. Our memory verse from last week, “Serve one another through love (Galatians 5:13),” applies to kids as well as adults.
Next week we’ll learn about giving, with some games I think you’ll enjoy. You will be the game-pieces in this room-sized game. And giving is not just about money, but also about your time, talents, and other areas as well.
See you Sunday!
