The First People
This coming Sunday is (1) Time Change Sunday—don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night, or you’ll get to Sunday School late!. (2) F.R.O.G. Sunday—wear something green and thing frogs! Actually it means Fully Rely On God, and we’ll be talking about God’s great plan for our lives. And (3) we’ll be learning about how God created people in His own image.

Think about all the ways that you are like God! You can think, remember, and appreciate beautiful things. You can forgive, feel sympathy, and even create some things. That’s the image of God in you! God is much, much more than you are, but in some very important ways you are like Him, and you can relate to Him and worship Him.

Adam and Eve can help us learn that God has a plan for each of our lives, and that by loving and serving Him we can have the very best lives possible. Come Sunday and help us look into the second chapter of Genesis!

And, of course, don’t forget to bring a friend! All children present Sunday will receive a special F.R.O.G. gift.
