The Lord is risen! The Lord is risen indeed!
This is the way the early Christians would greet each other and respond. It’s a great way to greet other Christians during the Easter season. We’ll try it out this Sunday, when we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.
We hope you had fun this past week as we learned about Palm Sunday and Jesus’ Triumphal Entry. But that was just the start of the last week of Jesus’ life, and next Sunday we’ll review the events that led up to His crucifixion and resurrection. We will view a video titled “The Story Behind the Cross” from the children’s Visual Bible series, telling about a group of high school students who learn what the cross is really all about. I think you’ll enjoy it!
Hope to see you on Easter Sunday…and it’s a great Sunday to bring a friend to celebrate with you.
