We all make lots of choices every day. Some of them are easy, like what clothes to wear or what to have for breakfast. But some of them can be much harder and very important, like whether I should do what my friends ask me to do, or whether I should obey my parents.
During the month of July we will be getting help from the Bible about making choices. This Sunday (July 1) we will be learning the Golden Rule — where Jesus taught us to treat others as you want to be treated. We’ll look at the iron rule and the silver rule, too…rules that don’t please God but that many people follow.
We will be learning to make choices that please God, that result in the very best consequences, and that will bring us the happiest lives. The Bible is the secret to making the best choices!
You’ll want to be there Sunday…and bring a friend!
