Love, Bible style, means wanting what is best for the other person. The Greek word is agape (ah-gah’-pay), and it’s the kind of love God has for us (as in John 3:16).
Next Sunday we’ll look at just one of the ways Jesus showed love, for a man who was hated by most of the people in Jericho, where he lived. His name was Zacchaeus…you will remember him as being short. But there was much more about Zacchaeus to know about, especially after he met Jesus.
A special treat for next Sunday will be the Cedarville University Master’s Puppet team, who will be presenting their show during Jericho Junction. You are invited to see it at the 11:00 hour. I’m looking forward to enjoying it with you.
Thanks for bringing your friends! It’s great to meet new friends, and share with them the fun we have while we learn about Jesus and the Bible. See you Sunday!
