During the month of August we will be learning about the things Jesus taught His disciples, and wants to teach us today. Much of the study will come from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7.
The first Sunday we will look at the “Beatitudes,” which all start with “Blessed are….” Jesus showed all of the attitudes that He taught about, and He expects us to show them as well. We will look at each one and find out why we are “blessed” or “happy” if we decide to show that attitude in our lives.
Our attitudes do more than perhaps any other thing to help us have a life which is happiest for ourselves and attractive to those around us. Through right attitudes we can bring glory to God and encourage others to follow Him.
Join us as we learn more about Jesus’ teachings this month. And, of course, don’t forget to invite a friend!
