Tell the World

Unit Thrust
Jesus' commission to the church is to "make disciples of all nations." This month we will study some of the ways we can do just that. We will learn about the way Stephen was able to tell about Jesus when it was really hard to do; how Peter learned that we can tell people from every nation and religion; how the Antioch church showed their love for Jesus by meeting the needs of the church in Jerusalem; how the church at Jerusalem prayed for Peter and others who told about Jesus; and how Paul told about Jesus in the world center of Athens.

July 3: When It's Not Easy

	Scripture: Acts 6:8-7:60
	Memory Verse: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations...And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. -- Matthew 28:19-20
	Life Application: I can trust God to help me tell others about Jesus even when it's difficult.

July 10: No Favorites

	Scripture: Acts 10:1-48
	Memory Verse: I understand that God doesn't show favoritism. -- Acts 10:34b
	Life Application: I can respect and value people from all nationalities and cultures.

July 17: Meeting Needs

	Scripture: Acts 11:19-30
	Memory Verse: We must not get tired of doing good. -- Galatians 6:9
	Life Application: I can work with my church to meet the needs of people.

July 24: Pray and Tell

	Scripture: Acts 12:5-19
	Memory Verse: Pray for one another. -- James 5:16
	Life Application: I can pray for people who tell about Jesus.

July 31: Tell the World

	Scripture: Acts 17:16-34
	Memory Verse: Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for me. -- Psalm 66:16
	Life Application: I can help tell the people of the world about Jesus.
