God Has Power

Beginning the final quarter of this school year, we learn about the Power of God.  Expressed in four Old Testament stories, we will see God's power in the lives of Joshua (fall of Jericho), David (defeat of Goliath), Elijah (protection from Jezebel), and Jonah (power to forgive).

I can recognize some of God's miracles.

I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. -- Philippians 4:13

I can trust God to give me the power to do what He wants me to do.

I can trust God to protect me.

You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate. -- Nehemiah 9:17
